    Help Pricing...

Sorry it's $10/lineal foot. Autocorrect. One big reason why I'm even considering it is it's on Dale Hollow, and I'm a pretty avid fisher. He's allowing me to spend the weekend on the boat and take out his pontoon during the weekend. I figure take a fellow detailer I'm friends with and use it as...

    Help Pricing...

Alrighty guys... I have a monthly customer who has decided he wants me to do his houseboat. The issue is... the boat is 225 miles away. He is wanting the 70'x16' houseboat washed and waxed. I generally charge $100 lineal foot for this. However, it's a little bigger than what I'm used to. The...

Question for guys with water tanks

If you set up the water tank about a foot higher than the inlet of the Pw you don't need a pump. I have a 10" hose running from my tank to the Pw and don't have any issues. It gravity feeds itself. I bought the tank at a local farm supply for $150. Sent from my SM-N900V using AG Online

I'm afraid deposits will push customers away, since no other detailers in my area have them. Usually all cancels notify the day beforw, but filling a spot that soon is hard. Sent from my SM-N900V using AG Online

How does everyone else deal with them? I've had three this week. Doesn't hurt much, but that's lost revenue. $450 to be precise. Not sure how I can keep them excited to get it done or whatever, but would like to not lose any really. Sent from my SM-N900V using AG Online

Question for guys with water tanks

I have a 65 gallon tank with a 2200 psi 2.1gpm PW and can get 6-10 washes with it. I only spray the car before the wash enough to get it wet then rinse off all soap after. Maybe a gallon to wet and maybe 4-6 gallons to rinse off. Sent from my SM-N900V using AG Online

When did you decide it was time to take your hobby full time?

I went to college and got two degrees in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security. Graduated in top 5% of my class. I had to work at a factory for a few months until I found a job at the local sheriffs dept. I then fell in love with the job. However, time turned into hatred and despise for...
