I upgraded from a D3000 to a D7000 2 months ago, loving it right now. You guys have no idea how good to have a cheaper than full frame camera that can produce usable 4x6 print in low light with ISO set to 6400, lol. I also got a Tokina 16-50 f/2.8 lens, it's 1/2 the price as the Nikkor 17-55...

When you polish the back of your phone that's paint gloss black, put sealant over it, wait 12 hours, then wax it lol.
