Im in Troy NY. The RV was sold last year but I'll be buying another one soon. I'd love to find someone local who can fix that king ranch seat (and do the entire interior) but this is upstate new york... people don't detail their rusty cars around here. :autowash:

Referrals are tough if you live in an area where there aren't many millionaires who regularly have their ferarris, porches and bentleys detailed. This isn't SoCal! This is upstate NY. LOL. I honestly, do not know a single person who has their vehicle detailed. I'm not rich but I don't mind...

I would have gladly paid $500 had he quoted me that price in advance and then actually done all the work he said he would. Any cheeky monkey with 1/2 an ounce of motivation can wash and wax an RV (or any vehicle) exterior and vacuum and wipe down the interior surfaces in 8 hours or less...

I have to say that my 1st and only experience hiring a "professional" detailer was pretty bad. It has honestly made me fear trusting my expensive & beloved vehicles to anyone to "detail". To me "detailing" is doing the major cleaning but also getting into those little areas that most people...

How was it a reminder to anyone when the 13 page thread was deleted? A "sorry about leatherique ruining your seat", and "here's you $90 back" would go a long way.

Yes that's a lot of oil that my seat drank in but the directions say to use several 4oz. applications if the leather is "cardboard hard". It also says "your patience will be rewarded". I also used the oil on the back and sides of the HUGE king ranch seat, the grab handles and the center console...

It would look sick in a king ranch too if all the leather ended up looking that way. See my pics. It's a crap shoot how the leather turns out looking. Mine looks like crap because of the different textures, shades, colors and the splotchiness. I probably wouldn't be so PO'ed if leatherique...

I kind of like what leatherique did to the upper portion of my seat. That marbled look is completely different from the look I expect and was hoping for but it's not ThAT BAD. Sadly, the lower part of the seat where your butt goes, is ruined. It's stained and rough and doesn't match the marbled...

I Swanic -Yes I did. Look at the staining from the leatherique oils in my seat in the pictures. Unfortunately, no amount of prestine clean is taking that out.

In every instance of someones leather being ruined by leatherique, George eventually comes on to the forum and posts the same long letter about how great leatherique is, how his father developed it 50 years ago and 1000s of car enthusiasts love it etc etc etc. Never once does he take any...
