Hey guys, when u say that the Hydro-tech pad's life span is short, how short do u mean? I am from Israel and since we have nothing here and shipping costs a fortune I really need to be picky about what I order.

Hey guys! well I have gotten to the point of ordering new buffing pads, all of my CCS orange pads are done, torn and worn. The question now is, do I order new 5.5" Hydro tech pads for my PC, or do I take the plunge and get 6.5" Hydro tech pads and a Flex XC3401 VRG? I don't want to get 5.5"...

Nice!, well, as of now I'm using the porter cable 7424 with ccs pads with Menzerna products but I only got like a few of them so I think I'm gonna order some Hydro-tech pads and switch to them. Also maybe get some Megs 105/205, I hear nothing but good things about them. Also, the orange ccs pad...

Hehe, I was really tired when I wrote that message, and it shows! What I meant was, that it says the pads are only compatible with water based polishes and I have no idea what that means. If anyone could explain plus give an opinion on the pads I would really appreciate it :)

Hey guys, currently I am working with ccs 5.5 inch pads and I heard good things about the new hydro tech pads. What do they mean water base polishes?, where does it say? And what do u think about the new pads?

Well, I use 5.5" orange foam pads. I do not have any 4" ones. Nothing is locally available here, everything must be specially ordered from the US. Also, yes the PFW pad is 6.5".

Yes well, as I am from Israel what I have will have to do as it will take about 3-4 weeks to get the menzerna power gloss. I have all of the poorboy's polishes and the menzerna super intensive polish. My most aggressive pads are the orange pad and the purple wool pad, would you suggest trying...
