The highway department just covered the road in front of my house with tar and stone chips. I cannot get the stuff out of the treads on my tires and the wheel wells. I don't want to park in the garage until this is taken care of. I used tar remover to get the tar off of the paint but I don't...
The wheels on my F-150 are painted clearcoat and Ford uses very soft brake pads that shed a lot of brake dust. I always use the 2 bucket method and wax the wheels 3-4 times a year with 845. The wax seems to keep some of the brake dust from clinging to the wheels.
Sparkie - I'm getting ready for my spring detailing of my white F-150. I was planning on using OP for polishing then DG 601 followed by DG105 X 2. I will be topping this with #16 x 2 then monthly waxing with #16. Are you saying I don't need any DG 601 prior to DG 105? I'm confused.
I'm going to try DG 105 topped with #16x2 then reapply #16 monthly.
Last year went with NXTx2 topped with #26x2, l like the shine on my white truck and the durabilty was ok.
I've been using the Edge 2K pads for the last 6 months on my truck and friends vehicles as well. Prior to that I was using the LC pads. IMHO there is no comparison, no centering problems, dual sided...Edge all the way!
