Thanks - I think I'll try the Stoners, I'm not very comfortable with diesal or kero.

    Heavy road tar removal

The highway department just covered the road in front of my house with tar and stone chips. I cannot get the stuff out of the treads on my tires and the wheel wells. I don't want to park in the garage until this is taken care of. I used tar remover to get the tar off of the paint but I don't...

    Nuba over DG105?

Bill - I got my #16 last fall from Canada. I've used it twice on my truck and once on the wife's car. It sure seems to be the original product.

    Nuba over DG105?

Bags - I top 105 with 2 coats of #16. The durability of the 105 is great and I like the "glow" of #16.

2 Bucket Method For Wheels And Rims????

The wheels on my F-150 are painted clearcoat and Ford uses very soft brake pads that shed a lot of brake dust. I always use the 2 bucket method and wax the wheels 3-4 times a year with 845. The wax seems to keep some of the brake dust from clinging to the wheels.

Duragloss (TPP) #105 vs (CCP) #111

Sparkie - I'm getting ready for my spring detailing of my white F-150. I was planning on using OP for polishing then DG 601 followed by DG105 X 2. I will be topping this with #16 x 2 then monthly waxing with #16. Are you saying I don't need any DG 601 prior to DG 105? I'm confused.

    Spring/Summer Combinations

I'm going to try DG 105 topped with #16x2 then reapply #16 monthly. Last year went with NXTx2 topped with #26x2, l like the shine on my white truck and the durabilty was ok.

    Which Pad kit to buy

I've been using the Edge 2K pads for the last 6 months on my truck and friends vehicles as well. Prior to that I was using the LC pads. IMHO there is no comparison, no centering problems, dual sided...Edge all the way!

How long do you spend detailing your car?

Takes me about 2 hours to do this on my F-150

    Weather Stripping?

I use 303 with a small (6"x2") piece of cardboard. Works well, just take your time.
