Moving from PC to Rotary, Flex or Makita?

Haha, thanks guys for all the explanations. I understand that a DA should be able to just the same if not more then a Rotary, but I'm just looking to experiment, I won't be getting rid of my PC or anything, since it'd be great to have around regardless. Just mainly debating between Flex or...

Moving from PC to Rotary, Flex or Makita?

So I've got a PC7424, and looking to upgrade to a rotary to save me time, not for a business or anything, just for friend's cars and my own cars to save time and over using my PC. I know the most recommended one for cross over is the Flex 3403, with a weight of 4.8lbs. While the Makita 9227 is...

    Winter Blues

Niceee job. I'm in Chicago and it's a bit warmer today also, upper 30s. There's supposed to be some show showers this weekend, but a good wash is always helpful.

    Carwash AND Conditioner

Reminds me of those Shampoo+Conditioner All-In-One bottles. Anyways, yeah, soap will just act as soap, its just made to lubricate and remove debris from the car.

PC to apply DG 105 and Collnite?

Oh, Would it be okay if I do the Collinite with a Blue Finishing Pad? I don't think the Collinite has any abrasives though.

PC to apply DG 105 and Collnite?

Can I use a PC to apply DG105? If so, which Edge pad should I use? I was thinking the white pad because DG105 is somewhat of a slight polish/sealant too. Then I should use Blue pad for Collnite right?

Easy Question: What is the Best Winter Protection combination

Well, all the sun does is shorten the lifespan of certain waxes on your paint. If you have a caruanba wax on your car, by having the car outside often, the sun would just wear it down. But then, since it's the summer, you can fairly easily reapply another layer with just with a QD clean-up. But...

Which Collinite Wax or Sealant is best for Winter Protection?

Both of us pretty much have the same questions, it should be merged, lol. Anyways, It seems to me that 476 is more of a paste wax, typically being harder to apply/remove, similar to the Klasse twins. I think going the Collinite 915 paired with Duragloss 105 route would be the best.

Easy Question: What is the Best Winter Protection combination

It's actually road salt and dirty snow that can splash up to your doors and front of the car. It also does well against rain, beacuse rain can be somewhat acidic depending on where you live.

Which Collinite Wax or Sealant is best for Winter Protection?

There are so many different choices for Collinite Waxes for winter protection. I'm wondering what are the differences between all the different ones, are some sealants and others waxes? Which are carnuaba and which are synthetic? Which has to be a LSP and which can be topped with carnuaba waxes...

Detail on Black 07 Camry SE V6

Thanks a lot for the compliments! It's a 6spd automatic w/ shiftronic or whatnot, so not a stick, but still pretty good. It's not exactly swirl free, I can still see some under halogen lighting. I'll be sure to work in XMT 360 better on my next detail. The paints in good condition...
