Wow, interesting! So I guess that's why some plastic chrome doesn't scratch easily (i.e. behaves like real chrome) and some is scratch sensitive?

Digging up an old thread here.. Any further updates or thoughts on the Gyeon Tire Mike? I just want something that looks good (satin), is dry to the touch and won't sling. Not too concerned about durability, as I dress the tires weekly (with every wash) anyway. My beloved Megs D163 is running...

It also gives black plastic trim some extra pop for some reason.. Great product.. I heard murmurs that it's getting discontinued due to the new UFF? I hope not!
