Commuting for work - how far is too far?

30-60 minutes isn't that bad at all... Pretty typical in our area.

How to Clean and Protect a Vintage Cars Interior

I use Meguiars M40 vinyl cleaner and protectant. Richens up the black vinyl in my 79 Z28 while leaving a natural finish.

What should I use on underhood plastics?

This is my 2010 Camaro. 15k miles, never sees inclement weather. It's turned into a garage queen. What should I use to protect the underhood plastics? I currently have Meguairs M40, Meguiars natural shine protectant, Mothers VLR, and Ultima trim and tire guard. Should I use something else? Or...

Organized my first car show...went really well I think. :-)

Great job!! I organize one at church also. We had 35 cars last year. Ours is July 23rd. We're able to keep the food, entry fees, etc free. Great time..

Do you attend car shows in an attempt for new business?

For most of us regular car show attendees it's more about the cause than the cars. I have friends that attend a couple car shows a week. It's tough to maintain a car when your showing that much with work, family, etc also needing your time. We have a couple local detailers that actually...

    First viewing of Competition Ready

Re: First viewing of Completion Ready True.. I am not a pro and I've learned something from each episode. I find myself pausing the show to see what products are being used, etc. I've also aquired a huge wish list.

    Competition Ready - Episode 3

I found where it went for $95700. Google russoandsteele 1984 Porsche. Might have been at a later auction though. Looks like the same car.

Product used on competition ready inquiry.

Which Meguiars product was used to wipe the dust off the cars in episode 2, before they were clayed?

    Loud Craftsman Riding Mower

Sounds like we have the same mower. On mine the pipe that goes into the muffler vibrates loose. I've welded it a few too many times now and it's worse than ever. The metal is very thin. Fortunately my nearest neighbor is at least 600 get away. So I still mow with it.

    STA-BIL Question (MPBGT)

I would start it.... If your concerned, depending on how much gas is in your tank, you could always add new gas to it. Or, you could get a hand transfer pump, remove some gas then add fresh gas.

    Detailing AIR FORCE ONE!

A local detailer from our area is on that team as well.

    Raised letters........

This is what I do as well. Nothing seams to keep them from turning brown again though. It happens with the car just sitting in my shop.

    Let's talk car shows

Got a car? Want to take it to shows and cruises? GO!!! I go just for the fun. Heck, if I made my paint perfect before every event, I'd be to tired and worn out to go. Our local shows do a lot of good for charities. For most of my friends that's what it's about, using their cars to help...
