Remember, when you add overhead, i.e. a rental space, you have to pay that overhead every month, feast or famine. Suddenly, you have to detail a certain number of vehicles per week just to break even. Know your cost of doing business like the back of your hand!

Tell me about it! I just wanted to do a good job washing my car, and put some wax on it. It got complicated and expensive rather quickly. I was hoping someone who'd already spent ten years and ten thousand dollars would take me aside tell me that all I really need are just a few items...

Ok, so are there any products that are absolutely worth the extra price? I.e. Go with Meguires for tires and wheels, wash, and leather interior, but go with Pinnacle, etc, for clay, polish, or wax? I'll check out the products in the auto geek store when I stop for lunch...

Thanks for the tips. I want to buy good products, but there are just so many products out there. I'd like to stick to the necessities until I learn all the stuff I don't know that I don't know. Necessities ain't cheap.
