    Review - CarPro Cquartz Lite

I put 2 coats on my crew cab F150 and 2 on my wife's escape. I still have around half a bottle left. Little goes a long way.

    Prep for Cquartz lite

The paint is pretty tacky after using Lite. It's definitely not smooth like a wax or sealant. However, the reload will give it a really slick feel.

    Prep for Cquartz lite

1 hour should be good to top with Reload. I've done a couple vehicles now and have done the reload anywhere between 1 and 4 hours after the coating. Haven't had any issues yet.

    Review - CarPro Cquartz Lite

I applied 2 coats to my truck Saturday. It was really humid and about 80 degrees. It was pretty tough to remove. Sunday morning I sprayed a small section with DI water. The beading was pretty impressive. One question I have is should I wait 7 days before the first wash? I did top it with reload...

    Prep for Cquartz lite

Let me know how your lite application goes. I just finished putting 2 coats on mine. Let about 3 hours go by between coats. I was having a hell of a time getting it leveled. It kept smearing on me. It was really humid so that may be the issue. I don't think I over applied. 2 coats on crew cab...

Video: NEW CarPro CQuartz LITE - EASY TO APPLY DIY CERAMIC COATING!

I ordered a kit and it's supposed to be in tomorrow. If it ever quits raining here I will post up a review. As of now it looks like rain the next 10 day. I'll also show why I want to go with a coating that doesn't last a couple years.

Video: NEW CarPro CQuartz LITE - EASY TO APPLY DIY CERAMIC COATING!

The lite coatings are a good option for someone like me. I work at a place where I get paint over spray on my vehicle from time to time. I need to do a full clay and polish about every 6 months to maintain my paint. I would love to do a ceramic coating but after 2 years of paint buildup my truck...

    Overspray on Ceramic Coating

Thanks for the input guys. I may just do the coating on my wife's car. That will save me time polishing and waxing it a couple times a year. I don't think covering my truck is really an option. I live on a little bit of gravel so it usually will have a light layer of dust on it. I don't want...

    Overspray on Ceramic Coating

I got a ceramic coating kit for Christmas. I plan on putting it on my truck this spring. The thing I'm concerned about is I tend to get overspray on my truck at work. We have a paint booth we use daily to paint large equipment. I'm not sure why but no matter how often we change the filters we...

    P21S TAW Presoak Before Rinseless?

Thanks for the input. One of my concerns is that you are supposed to thoroughly rinse TAW off the paint. Is the rinseless going to be enough to rinse it off good enough? Sent from my SM-G950U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    P21S TAW Presoak Before Rinseless?

I was wondering if doing a 1:10 P21S TAW presoak before using Uber Rinseless Wash would be ok? I was wanting to make sure I got all the salt/road film off of my paint. I was planning on spraying the TAW on first, letting it sit a minute and then spraying Uber mixed at waterless ration, then...
