Thanks for the in-depth replies. I wish I would have known this info before purchasing the items. I guess I was under the impression that it was to fix the years of degradation with this product, without actually looking more into restoring exterior pieces. What brush tip do you recommend to use?

i just received the DP Gloss Tire Gel and it works alright. its not like the meguiars or eagle one tire shine that i have bought in the store. i applied two coats and its not a HIGH GLOSS finish. it doesnt look bad but its not as glossy as i thought it would be
