Hmmm... I just do this as a hobby on my days off really. I guess I could have got a good 50/50 on the boot lid (trunk lid) as it was the worst. I'm happy enough with the photos I got. I take your point though and I'll keep it in mind for next time. Cheers.

Yeah, nah. I wouldn't be removing any emblems. Like crash said, tape them off as well as you can, then get any residual polish/wax later with a brush.

It's nice to sit back and see that something you've done actually works the way it's supposed to. It hasn't rained here for something like 45 days now. Great weather for washing cars.

You can try a detailing brush sprayed with some QD spray or spray wax. Then dab with a clean MF.
