    I need mental help!!!

I need help. I can't find a doctor that can figure out what is wrong with me. My symptoms: I spend all of my time in the garage, microfiber cloth, and random orbital in hand. My children don't recognize me. My dog doesn't know who I am. Strange men are coming and going from my house at...

    Confused Newbie on paint prep

I bought the Griot's 6 inch and 3 inch orbitals. I was going to use Griots polish number 3 ( i only have light towel marks), then the Blackfire polish, which I understand is more like a glaze, then the Blackfire wet diamond. Other suggestions would be appreciated.

    Confused Newbie on paint prep

Sorry for the question, but I am a little confused. I clayed and put Meg's ultimate wax on last year. After getting the "detailing bug", I have been searching the past few months and have purchased a random orbital and better products. It's time to clay, polish, an seal my car now. I keep...

    Sealant on windows

Thanks, I will give it a try. Is it easier to do by hand or with an orbital?

    Sealant on windows

Ok, a newbie question. I am about to seal my cars with Wolfgang or Blackfire. I have seen some remarks eluding to the fact that these sealants can be put on the windows. Is this correct? Should it be done? Sorry for the easy question, but appreciate the help.

    Best paint prep for sealant

Thanks for the help. My cars are both pretty new, but there are parts of them that are rough probably due to overspray. Is it ok to clay, polish, and use a paint cleaner? Or is that overkill?

    Best paint prep for sealant

Ok, I'm going to try Wolfgang or Blackfire wet diamond, but I want to make sure that my paint is ready to go. What is the best way to prep the paint? Will griot's #3 polish remove the old sealant and wax? Is the wolfgang polish better? Or is there another "cleaner" to consider? Thanks for...

    Compatible with Griot's products

Thanks, thats good to hear. I currently use the spray on wax and speed shine, they both seem to keep the finish longer. I used the sealant on an older car (admittedly I didn't let it cure long enough). I recently saw a black corvette that had the WGPS on it and it looked amazing so I wanted...

    Compatible with Griot's products

I know that Griot's makes their products compatible, and for the most part I am happy with the results I get with most of their stuff. I am not crazy about their sealant, and would like to try something that has a little more "pop". Has anyone had any experience using a sealant and then using...
