    Best ‘dust repelling’ QD?

Guz, I don't think that time between application and removal is the issue. If this followed the normal issues with Gliss that CarPro describes, then it would not buff off and I would have to reapply to get it to loosen up. As I said above, I tried just about everything for dwell time from 1...

    Best ‘dust repelling’ QD?

The bottle looks like the bottle on the left and the packaging matched your pictures. I used the applicator block with the “suede” pieces that are part of the kit. In the box you showed there were 3 or 4 of the suede cloths and an instruction page. I used several different types of towels to...

    Best ‘dust repelling’ QD?

Yes, it was closer to 6 hours before applying Gliss. I contacted CarPro-US.com the next day and tried a section on the hood based on suggestion from them. That is when I got the picture of the pile of fuzz above. So, time since application of CQUK3 is definitely not an issue.

Good to know I’m not alone! Thanks for posting your experience with Gliss. Thread hi-jack complete.

That was not the expiration date, the expiration is in 2022. I did contact CarPro-US.com but I did not buy through them. I thought that was an official CarPro site but I now don't think that it is. I do need to contact CarPro and see what they have to say. I did put it on the whole car but...

    Best ‘dust repelling’ QD?

My bottle of Gliss has a sticker on the bottom with a date of 28 Jan 20. The label on the bottle just says Gliss, not any V2 shown. I know it is weird and I tried different amounts, different towels, and different cure times. All of those attempts ended similarly with the white fuzz to some...

Not much praise for Reload. My experience has so far been the opposite. Reload did make the surface much slicker although not the slickest I have ever felt. Yes, I am aware that applying it as much as I have is overkill. After spending a day cleaning/decontaminating, a day buffing/polishing...

    Best ‘dust repelling’ QD?

Thanks Guz. The last of that posting you linked suggests that a QD will reduce the static charge. In my case, I have used Reload (a QD) 4 or 5 times since finishing the CQUK3. The car been in the garage and I have been sheltering in place. It looks so good that it has been rewarding to apply...

    Best ‘dust repelling’ QD?

Sorry for reviving an old thread but it is exactly what I was looking for. I just did a full detail, paint correction, and application of CQUK3 and Reload. I went to home depot (~8 mile roundtrip) after the car had sat in the garage for 3 days since the last application of Reload and nearly a...
