I've had very disappointing experiences with my (blue) Nanoskin wash mitt. It doesn't pick up any of the visible contaminants that traditional clay will get: little black dots (tar?) and orange-brown dots (bug or sap?). If I press harder, it just leaves black streaks that can only be removed...

One followup question: Is the suggested Lake Country applicator able to last throughout the whole coating procedure without gumming up or hardening? Is intermittant cleaning required or are multiple applicators suggested?

+1. I believe the YK580s are a Discount Tire exclusive. I replaced a set of Conti DWS with them on my Legacy and have been very pleased.

CCF. Titans are notorious for this. A vinyl roof wrap is probably the easiest solution.
