Thanks for the tips.
I'll try to shake the bottle a bit more and really get it agitated. I'll also try to spray less and see how that works. I have less than 64 oz. to work with now so I'll do as suggested. However, this stuff still stinks (smell) lol.
I have used it on a freshly detailed car...
After reading some of the product reviews about this product I thought it would work great. Much to my dismay I was wrong. This stuff feels like you are rubbing your car with fine sandpaper. Even with the best MF towels. I've used the green 750 MF towels and it still feels like sandpaper...
I just got a new Metro Vac that I love. It has lots of attachments that keep my car spotless inside. I'm dying to try out the new Flex DA polisher on my car!
I have a PC and polished a car with it. My hands felt like mush afterwards. I didn't like it at all. Needless to say I ordered the Flex and I hope that it's easier on the hands than the PC is.
I'll still use the PC, but for paint cleaning and putting on sealants only.
It may not be a bad idea to throw the Wolfgang Headlight restore kit on here as well. I have used it and still see great results after 6 months of using it once!
I recommend the Wolfgang TSR PC kit. It offers everything you need to get started and have protection. I know a lot of people here will mention just putting wax on after you finish but I prefer a sealant THEN wax afterwards for maximum shine and protection.
Wolfgang Porter Cable 7424 Swirl-Free...
I liked working with the Wolfgang Swirl Remover kit. Made it real easy to work on and definitely eliminated all the swirls and all oxidation buildup on the car! Only the deeper scratches are present now. (Scratches that I will not try to correct)
The depth of the color is restored and it...
I offered to help a friend restore their totally swirled G35 and get some experience on polishing paint. I used a PC 7424 and Wolfgang TSR for polishing:
Wash:
Meguiar's 62 car wash and conditioner
Cobra "The bone" wash mitt
Wheels: used an older MF towel
Dry:
Cobra HD guzzler drying towel...
I am really liking this product. It works quite well on my Desert Sand metallic '05 Corolla and I tried it on my Spruce Green metallic Cougar. It leaves a nice smooth silky-type feel along with popping the metallic flakes on my cars.
