    How do you advertise?

*If you have a trailer...use it as a billboard. It works! *Got a website? Be sure that all the Metadata is used correctly which will help in search rankings. *LinkedIn. Build your network and get involved with groups. *Google Adwords *Google Places *Yelp *Manta *Bing Places for Business *Yahoo...

    Flex3401

:iagree: I've used my Flex on boats numerous times. It works awesome with wool and (obviously) foam pads on boats!

To Everyone With A Mobile Setup

Negative. Since that post, life happened (marriage, childbirth, etc). I still can at some point...just busy doing other things. I also don't browse the forums much either.

What towels should I be using?

My advice (for what's it's worth), buy a few different microfiber towels of different thicknesses and sizes and see what works best for you in certain applications. Like products, what works best for someone else in certain applications, may not be your preferred choice and vise versa.

At what point did you decide to go ALL IN?

For me it was a no-brainer when I decided to go "all in". My first job I ever had in high school was detailing for a local mobile guy. My friend worked for him and got me the job there for some summer income before my senior year. I knew, as soon as I started there and learning more about...

Hey man, I think I read a while back about you using an ozone generator. Which one do you use...

Hey man, I think I read a while back about you using an ozone generator. Which one do you use and is there anything you don't like about it? I've been racking my brains out trying to figure out a good one to get as they aren't really cheap and don't want to spend on something that ends up being...

Mytee Lite II Vs. VX-5000 Steamer

I have found, in most cases, when I'm doing interiors....first spraying the carpets with an APC, then agitating with the VX and brush attachment, followed by the extraction with the HP60, has been my 1-2-punch approach. Really hard to get stains may require the use of a terry cloth. But I ALWAYS...

    Show your mobile van setup!

I'll snap some interior shots when I get a chance. As far as prices... *Trailer (6x10x5'h) w/ 5-spoke aluminum wheels...about $3200 out the door *Vinyl graphics...$400 *Amount of calls/new clients I've gotten just driving around...priceless!

No...I don't care how slow it gets.

    Paying your helper?

You can also hire help thru a staffing agency. I don't mean call the place and have them send just anyone over to help. I had a friend work with me for a while and I had him go thru a staffing agency, the agency sent me the bill, and that's all I had to worry about. They took care of the taxes...

    New Mobile Detailing Trailer

Awesome set-up!! Reminds me of my first trailer set-up I had. Questions: * Since you only do interior work, have you lost much business by not offering exterior work as well? * I've always heard (and done so myself) that it's best to place the water tank directly over the axle...
