I like UC for a quick job/cheaper alternative. M205 finishes much nicer IMO.

I didn't mean that they are literally a mix. What I meant was that UC doesn't cut quite as hard as 105 and it doesn't polish out as well as 205. Which to me ressembles it being a "mix" of the two.

I just checked out 3 pairs I have laying around. All China. Doesn't surprise me, but they always held up great while skating. Rubber was always a little harder then other poorly made skate shoes (Osiris and Globe to name a couple).

Never was into DC's. Had Osiris (sucked), and then finally found Emerica and never went to anything else. In fact, I still have a pair of Tosh Townends from back when he rode for them. Always had such killer style and excellent quality. I'd still skate today if A.) Didn't live in Minnesota...

Love those shoes also. Unfortunately I haven't skated since highschool. I moved on to cars and driving :)
