OptiLens has been on a 2002 Corolla I restored about a year ago still looks good. Pricey but it should last several applications

Why so you say touch your paint less with hydro2 vs Reload? Aren't both WOWA application?

You're probably ok. Just make sure to use several MF towels,to avoid dragging dirt on your paint and to mist the MF towels to make sure you're well lubricated

I've read good reviews for PERL for tires! So if its good for tires, its probably too thick or greasy for me for interiors. IMHO.

Probably safer just to do a regular ONR wash. If you want to do the cloths you might be better off using a waterless wash like OptiClean. It has extra polymers to compensate for the reduced amount of water. Also to remember to use more than one towel.

Have you tried any other products? I have some Dlux and have used it in smaller trim pieces, I just didn't want to waste it on the wheel wells. But if it lasts for months might be worth it!

No the foam gun is a pre soak to loosen the dirt without physically touching the car. You can strip wax with a foam gun it depends on how strong of a soap you use. They make pH balanced soaps that are more gentle and won't strip wax.

Definitely black probably could use a light polish. Probably a good time for a coating like OptiCoat too.

May have to try that out. Have you tried other APCs like OPC or Meguiar's APC?

Thanks for the suggestions. What about using something stronger like CarPro Eraser? Would that remove any remaining residue? I don't have a DA and am hesitant to hand applying a polish for fear of causing damage to my finish.
