This is what happens when you don't change or have enough pads, my first time ever polishing my truck I did 3/4 of a full sized truck with out changing or even cleaning the pad..
I went with the GG6 and love it, equipped with a lake country 5.5inch backing plate (not sure why but the guys on here told me to so I did lol), lake country thin pro pads in Orange & white, and some HD speed.

Any one have any experience detailing fiber glass boats particularly bass boats? I was mentioning to a guy earlier about doing some detailing on the side and talked to him about his truck blah blah then he mentioned me doing his bass boat, it's a 98 stratus and I went and looked didn't get any...
Well I got about half my truck done and this happened then it got dark and today it's been raining all morning how should I go about finishing up the detail, my truck is kindly dirty again from the water on the roads and it will be later this week before I can get back to it, do I just rehash it...
I actually ordered 6 pads to use on it with every intention of changing every section but it just seemed like the pad was still doing fine so I just kept on trucking, is there anyway to tell when the pad needs changed or do you just do it because you know you should ?
