    what pad for Optimum GPS?

Thanks for the info :xyxthumbs: . It's too bad it's not a harder clear coat. I've tried to avoid foliage with it off-road but sometimes things happen. If I knew what I know now, I'd have probably gone for white paint when I bought it

    what pad for Optimum GPS?

Hey guys, long time no chat. Life's been crazy but I'm back with a question. Going to give my Jeep a good detail this weekend before pulling the top for summer and I'm finally going to use the Optimum GPS I picked up for it a couple years ago (yes it still seems to be good). I've figured out...

    "Detailing" a smartphone

Hrmm, not really looking to buy something just for this purpose, I already have the UIGP which works great on our vehicles. I've seen random "detailing" threads over the years of people using car products on their phones though and this seemed liked a similar situation.

    Wiper Blades

Another vote for the Bosch Icon's. I figure if they're good enough for those "storm chasers" guys, they're good enough for me. I replaced the first set after a year out of habit, they probably had plenty of life left in them. So I'll hold onto the current set until they are obviously not...

    "Detailing" a smartphone

Hey guys, got a crazy question here. So I just ordered a Motorola X smartphone which can be completely customized with different materials on the back at order time. Options are plastic, real wood laminate, and real un-sealed leather. I ordered one with leather, and I was thinking about...

    UTTG (new formula) problem

Thanks, I'll see about getting a good stiff brush to clean the plastic up. Hopefully that will take care of it.

    UTTG (new formula) problem

Hi guys. Not sure if I did something wrong, or am just expecting too much out of UTTG but I've never had this problem before when I used to use 303 instead. My Jeep has a lot of textured plastic (fenders & bumpers). After applying UTTG, the new formula one, a few weeks ago, I went offroading...

    cleaning a Jeep soft top?

Well, I put my order in yesterday, even made the 15% discount sale (wasn't expecting to find that lol). Should be here on the 3rd according to UPS so I'll have the long weekend to clean my top and put it on. :dblthumb2:

    UTTG questions

Can UTTG be used in a high temp environment like the engine bay? If so is it really worth it for the cost? Also can it be used on the "rubber" seals on my doors and windshield for the removable top on my Jeep? Previously I've been using 303 on the engine, seals, trim, but it runs like crazy...

    cleaning a Jeep soft top?

Thanks for the offer. I'm probably just going to end up making an AG order. I need to get some more 303 for the seals on my top and the engine bay, and have been wanting to get some UTTG for the fenders, bumpers, etc. for a long time (not wasting that on the engine lol), and I need the cleaner...

    cleaning a Jeep soft top?

Yeah I'll definitely try weatherstripping on the rest because there's no way I'm paying $130 for the surround seals unless I have to. I'm not planning on this top lasting forever, and I already have to actually replace one of the door surrounds because it's damaged at the attachment point...

    cleaning a Jeep soft top?

LOL yeah definitely will not be using high pressure. It's quite used, I already had to buy the $10 front header seal kit, probably need to buy the $130 door surround seals kit too if I want it water tight (assuming none of the seams & zippers leak). Thankfully I shouldn't have any wax/sealant...

    cleaning a Jeep soft top?

Thanks guys, I'll try a damp cloth or maybe just take a hose to the inside first and see if that gets the inside looking ok or not. It's not on the Jeep yet as I just bought the top off craigslist a couple weeks ago. I don't know if the dust on the inside is from use or from storage or both...

    cleaning a Jeep soft top?

Thanks guys. Question, can I use the raggtopp cleaner on the inside as well? If not, any suggestions for that? Also, anyone know if a 2007 Jeep top is fabric or vinyl? When I think vinyl I think fake leather, but the top is fabric with a vinyl coating (I believe). So I think I should order...

    cleaning a Jeep soft top?

Hi guys, been a while since I posted here, but I'm back with a couple questions. I just picked up a used soft top for my Jeep. As best I can tell it's either cloth or a coated cloth (cloth texture outside, inside is definitely cloth). I'm wondering what I should be using to clean it with...
