thank you Mike. Yes, it’s the discoloration just below the body line in the center. I was kind of figuring it was staining on the clear. Any recommendations on how to remove the stripes on the other side to minimize this?

that makes sense. Trying to decide whether to tackle the other side with the lacquer thinner, or wait and see what happens. If i tape off the area on the other side; will the lacquer thinner pierce through and sit in the paint more with tape laid down?

just for some general guidance...how much product do you guys generally use per section of the vehicle? If i put an X or swirly pattern of the ol Swirl remover on a foam pad, is that typically enough to cover a 24x24 area? or more/less?

Thanks guys. The Griots DA kit I ordered came with a CCS orange, white and blue pad, and the Wolfgang twins. I'm thinking that I will start with the white pad, and Wolfgang TSR 3.0. Think that's a good starting point, then finish with blue? Or should I add a black or red pad for finishing?

I've been reading the same thing on here about opti-coat. How can i verify if my particular paint code is Single Stage or not??

I believe the paint on my truck is single stage. Given the Wolfgang trio i'm going with, is there anything else i should add to this mix for the single stage paint? Or, will the WG 3.0 trio do the trick? Thanks!
