They appear to be each individual sides sewn together with an x.
The happy endings are nice enough. I got them on sale when they came out, if I was paying ~$3.00 each I would wait for MFT 470gsm edgeless to go on sale and buy those instead.
Got my new set of MF towels in and figured Id do a little review because there's not much info on them.
Took a chance and picked up 40 of ahtowels or A&H towels 700gsm. They gave me a military discount so I ended up paying like ~$1.65 each which is crazy.
I got these with the sole purpose...
Greg I think you hold the record for King Lurker!
Can't go wrong with the Rupes or Flex. Saving time correcting is something you're going to want with a big black truck.
I got 30 of the red Happy Ending when they came out at a good price. They seem ~470 and are actually pretty nice. I had to wash them twice though, the color bleeds and they lint at first.
Fairly certain stocktowelsnow has the same ones for slightly cheaper now though.
:dblthumb2:
I ended up having to push the cone end piece on there really far, past the first barb on the hose. It kept flying off from the pressure lol.
This thing is also surprisingly quiet.
Its gonna be a pro/con thing like anythIng else, people saying coatings are hands down the way to go are full of it. If you like your coating then fine but there's too much, "get the coating bro its amazing" without any other talk about it.
Ive stated reasons why I choose what I do. I wasnt...
This is subjective and a personal opinion at best. I don't like the glass/mirror look, I want the depth I get with wax and the coatings I've tried do not out perform my sealant.
I still prefer sealants. It's going to depend on how often you feel the need to polish the car.
My cars are drivers and regardless of how safe I wash, I always need to polish them more often than the longevity of a coating. So it's not worth it to me in cost or PITA to apply.
Salt, ice...
