I had an 06 GTO, not a fan. I love the Vette and so does everyone else. The pait is not too hard to work with with the right tools and products, it is all available here. The 03/04 Cobra would be a very good choice too if your looking for HP. Not to hard to make those very fast. The Mitsu EVO is...
I have to admit I am also a sucker for the shint tire. Just cannot fine a product that gives me the look I like without it slinging all over the car
Mike
Well I own both and I just did my daughters black Escape that we recently bought, it was in VERY bad shape. We tried both machines and the flex killed it hands down. The Groits is a great finisher and you can put a small back plate / brushes on it which is why I bought it, but aside from that...
Detailing my daughters Escape today and it is black but the lower half of the body is a gray plasic. Paint is no problem we have that looking fantasic but not the bottom looks a little dull, what do you sugggest for that?
Thanks,
Mike
did step 2 with the Groits, Tang Hydro and 105. All I can say is I am a fan. Super fast, great results. Definitly a great investment to our tool collection. For really tough jobs there is better gear but for 90% of your work I have to admit the Groits will get it done fast and well.
Mike
OK we gave the Groit's a really fair test today. I bought my daughter a 2001 Black Ford Escape recently. Definitly lived in a drive through car wash its whole life and possibly dried with brillo pads. Pretty bad, we put a blue hydro pad on and some 105 did a section with the Groit's and then the...
OK my friend. Now maybe your a step over the line. It is apparent that you have quite a bit of passion for the GC machine. but to say my statement is incorrect is plainly wrong. So far in my experience it is not. The flex is a far better quality product in construction and build material. I like...
Well Adam to be fair to the Groit's we have done very little correction with it so far. It is an excellent machine for sure. I am having a hard time believing it can correct like the flex but we are going to give it a try son and I will post my result.
Mike
We started with a flex and love that, we just got a Groit's as a second polisher and it is good but sure not a flex. I sure would not want a unit with less power so if the Flex is out of your budget then Groits is the answer.
