    Porsche GT3 Touring

Respectfully, the pricing everywhere for P cars is insane! I drove the GT3 at the Porsche Experience and while it is a great car, I don't think it is $300k amazing. But, I do not begrudge anyone for buying one. They are the only game in town for a naturally aspirated car of that quality and now...

Electric Pressure Washer: How does PSI and GPM translate to foam?

He does literally, have a spreadsheet with just about every electric pressure washer lol. These are figures he tested not manufacturer ratings. Search his YouTube and you can watch the testing.

Mike Phillips VIF or Vehicle Inspection Form

I would as well. I keep polishing cars with different pad and polish/compounds combinations and then I go back and cannot recall what that magical combination was! I figure this would be a good way to adapt to keep track of what I have done and how. :xyxthumbs:

    Forum activity

I have noticed the same issue but the upside is the huge library of reference material here that takes some effort to search, but is still much more accessible than FB. I think another issue is the numerous detailers who have used the forum to grow their businesses and then disappear. You can...

I’ve spent a ton of money on detailing products, but the best investment....

Can you share what model this is and how do you have it hooked up?

The Secret to Removing Oxidation and Restoring a Show Car Finish to Antique Single Stage Paints

I hit it with another application of M07 and it came right off. Thanks again for the tip!

    LHR 21ES is Dead

While driving back from Harbor Freight I got to thinking about the WD40 suggestion and went back out and just moved the switch 20-30 time and got it to fire up! Not sure what the issue is with sitting for so long but somehow it seemed to affect the switch. Maybe this will teach me to get it out...

The Secret to Removing Oxidation and Restoring a Show Car Finish to Antique Single Stage Paints

Hi Bill, thanks for the response. It did not rain but got damp due to the marine layer from the ocean. The areas that were wet dried out so I am think I will be good. Like you said, I will add more product if any of the areas give me trouble while I remove it.

    LHR 21ES is Dead

Thank you for the suggestions. I actually have a 6-in Griots that I converted to a 3 inch years ago but I threw that 6-in backing plate away. Made a trip to harbor freight and bought a 6-in backing plate that'll give me to through weekend. Since it is no longer under warranty I will also open...

The Secret to Removing Oxidation and Restoring a Show Car Finish to Antique Single Stage Paints

Because I am a dummy and rolled the dice, my truck got wet last night while letting the #7 soak. Any tips on how to proceed from here? I am tempted to let it dry in the sun then wipe and reapply but thought I would ask in case someone has experience and recommends another course.

    LHR 21ES is Dead

Hi all, this is not meant to be a slam against Rupes or their products. I love this tool and my experience with them has always been outstanding. I bought my ES from Autogeek in 2013 and used it on my car several times (maybe 5-10 total) before putting it away for several years due to a move and...

    Ibrid Nano Status?

I got mine at the end of May and I placed my order as soon as the pre-order opened up. I have not had the chance to use it yet but everything looks great.

The new Top Gear TV show

Just my take but the new guy screaming and hyperventilating in the Mclaren long tail was embarrassing. I watched the rest of the episode and he seems like a very likable guy but in my opinion he and Leblanc are following an act that I thought was the best show on TV. All the new stuff seems very...

DIY LED Work Light (much better than halogen!)

Great info guys, thanks for sharing. Has anyone found a better alternative to the plastic dual-bulb holders most people seem to buy from Amazon? I would not mind spending a little more for something that lasts and does not pull the socket from the holder especially when using the heavy Utilitech...
