Understood...will try to take better photos and post it again. I can't feel the scratches (which I presume they are) and my guess is this is either via the polisher or sanding that the detailer used on my SUV.

Apologies for another MF question. I'm currently torn between getting a Korean Towel (to which I understood is 430 gsm) or those super plush 700 gsm towels. My main use for them is waterless washing and applying OCW/ Werk's Jett Trigger. From the many reviews I read both gets the job done...

Sirs, Is there a reason to splurge more on a 460 gsm towel? Use will be mainly for applying OCW and removing polishes/ aio/ wax. A dozen 360 gsm (CG) will cost me around USD 23 but the same number of 460 gsm/ MIK (MF Tech) will be about USD 56. Price alone sways me to get the cheaper...

I was in the same position. In my case, I took advantage of the discount offer and got myself a dozen pads. It's a tough pill to swallow but as to what Mike said, you can never have too many pads :) I got the orange (5), white (5) and black (2) pads btw.

Wow I've just placed an order for this as well. While 5-8 uses is better than a clay bar of similar value, it's disappointing to know how short its life span is. Any way you can say you've been rough with it?

I got the 5" backing plate and 5.5" pads as I see it being easier to work with. I would share what others did that is getting more pads specially if you're buying abroad. I bought 12 pads (5 each of LC flat pad orange and white) then 2 of the black.

Oh ok. I also saw threads of issues/ malfunction but majority of these are from the 2nd gen model. GG6 has always been my choice but only considered the PC as it was on sale. Both are highly regarded models/ brands so I'm positive(ly hoping) that defects are limited to a select few :)
