I purchased 2 of the 16x16 PFM towels back in 2018 and have been using them to dry with a spray of drying aid after a rinseless wash. It's time to replace them now due to usage and all the washes.
Only complaint I have about them would be I would prefer an edgeless towel. Otherwise, they did a...
I have a bottle on order and planning on replacing my D156. Will use it the same way as D156, either drying aid or apply after drying and wipe off.
I might try the dilution so I can make the bottle last longer.
Just to clarify its 1:7 - 1oz HCW to 7oz distilled water?
I usually just prerinse with a worx and spray my RW then go to my soaked MF towels. I tested out the pressure washer + foam cannon before my rinseless to try a "safer" wash since its been longer than i'd like between my washes. Was trying to get rid of the worx.
Are you using your IK FOAM with...
Tried a foam cannon for the first time and used it before my rinseless wash. Not sure if I noticed a difference, I still get about same amount of dirt on my microfiber towels and added a bit of time to my routine.
Worx 20v blower. Shares same battery with my hydroshot. Excellent for blowing the water out of all crevices and side mirrors. I'll finish up with a single 16x16 PFM.
Do you use the clear coat portion on the factory pen too? I think I am going to try with just dr color chip and a tiny brush and see how it comes out.
I have dr color chip and also langka blob eliminator on hand. need to buy tiny brushes
I use the hydroshot with 2 liter attachment, but with a 1.5 L smartwater bottle filled with uber at 3oz/128oz dilution. Bottle is good quality and same height as a 2L. Flat bottom so suction is good towards bottom. No extension rod, 25degree spray, low power. I can cover a panel quickly and its...
Have you had a chance to tests this yet. I am looking to to try out cancoat soon then use a mix of Cure, distilled water and some ech2o as drying aid to maintain.
Cancoat looks nice, would it be unwise to use it on a car that needs a clay + light polish? If I can get 3 months out of it that is fine for me.
EDIT: I mean to skip clay and the polish. With plastic bag, every panel has contamination/bumpy.
Had light showering rain last night which beaded up outside. Next morning I go out to car and its covered in spots... Is this pollen or something else? I will be doing a wash once I get home...
