Leaf Blowers work okay. It should not blow dust onto the car unless you point it at the ground. It is awkward to hold the blower up high enough to blow the water off. Still the leaf blower does not work as well as the Master Blaster.

Basically volume. I have both types of air movers. An air compressor can provide high pressure air but is limited in CFM (Cubic Feet Minute) The 8HP Master Blaster delivers high volume of CFM at lower but sufficient pressure to blow off the water.
