Can someone explain like i'm 5 the difference between carpro Reload VS Hydro2

I know this is a super old post, but just for anyone just reading this, it is definitely NOT recommended to use Hydro2 on dry surface. There are a few YouTube videos out there where detailers have tried on dry surface and it was not good. Difficult to wipe off and left streaks, and overall made...

What Happened To My Ceramic Coating?

I know thread is super old now, but FWIW for other readers… I’ve used Reload for last 4 years on four different cars with UK3.0 (applied every 2 months or so) and water beading looks like Day 1 of ceramic coating. The “feel” of the paint after Reload is not supposed to be slick glass-like, but...

    Griots 3-1 Cermaic wax

When you say “thick product”, are you saying it’s hard to wipe off and leaves streaks? I have Black car and I know Reload gives streaks if I’m not careful with amount used (especially on black cars). Is this product even more difficult to use?

    Griots 3-1 Cermaic wax

So would you say this is a better topper to use on a ceramic coat vs “traditional” SiO2 toppers like Reload? I’m currently using Reload on my maintenance washes as topper over my ceramic coat, but would like something a little bit more durable.

Ceramic paint coatings care and Tree Sap!

Thank you Mike. And apologies for the miscommunication. Yes I meant to ask which Sap remover product is safe on a car that already has ceramic coating on it (CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0). I do a very thorough wash using Foam gun and High pressure rinse (repeat 2x), followed by 2 bucket wash system...

Ceramic paint coatings care and Tree Sap!

Hi Mike. I too have the same question about how to preserve the ceramic coat when using a tar/sap remover. I get small droplets of pine sap on my black car where I park at work. The whole lot gets it. And although I can get it out with soap and water and a microfiber, it takes a bit of...
