I hand applied three wet coats #7 the first day and the following day polished with cg fp polish and topped ith jetseal. about 15 hours total. I hand polished all chrome and trim the third day.
Here is an example of a car I did not long ago this was 1.5 bottles #7 a lite polishing and a coat of jetseal.
That is the original paint and sorry I didnt get before shots but trust me it was a complete 180.
I have worked on several single stage paints and have tried several different products. I would have to say yes #7 is that important. I go for #7 first every time now and mikes method is one of the best I have used. I have had great results with other methods and other products but that is paint...
Thanks for all the complements believe it or not the chevelle has the most ime in it. the car was dried with a dirty chammy and was scratched all up that is actualy a for step job and it is a 454 chevelle ss with over 600 to the rear wheels. I absolutely love the car.
These two cars belong to a customer who has become a pretty good freind of mine and mY wife. I met him when I needed some t-shirts made up for my business.

OK I have xmt 180 on the way so I am not looking for that anymore.
I am however interested in some four star products mainly just yhe paint correction and protection stuff.
I have a bottle of cg blacklight and a bottle of cg 3n nano polish I wouldnt mint trading for something.
I am using six volt battery's wired together at 12 volts. I have a cheap harbor freight inverter at 2000 amps. I use a craftsman battery charger to charge them over night. I also have them on a battery isolator in the van for a 10 amp charge from the alternator as I am driving.
