After seeing several mention of MSDS I decided to check it out and was surprised that there are numerous sites offering this for free. Which one do you recommend regarding usability and completeness?

I used Teflon polish 30 years ago, I thought it worked well then. I assume the modern coatings are far superior to a wax with Teflon in it from 30 years ago.

I would expect it to dust less since the Gold was specifically formulated for a long working time. Can you give us more detail on on cut and finish? What do you follow it with?

It was wrong to look at it as just pure amount of working time. A better way to look at it is a polish that has adequate working time in every circumstance. I would say my second criteria and probably equal to the above would be one that starts off very aggressive but diminishes to very fine.

Thanks Mike and everybody! I only did 2 sections so it didn't occur to me the pad needed cleaning already but being such an old car that does make sense. This is my practice car before I move on to our new cars.

My problem with a bazillion products is apparently some don't play well together and since I am not doing this as a profession I don't want to test them all. Also certain paint jobs preferring certain products presents the same challenge.
