All my vehicles have 40 series or lower - actually found the "Chunky Foam" one's to work really well:
Speed Master Tire Dressing Applicator
I've used them with gel and liquid type dressings.
Edit: The above review pictures demonstrate the use of these perfectly on a 40 series tire :Picture...
I've had good luck with McKees37 Hydro Blue = simple --> Clean well --> spray on --> rinse off with PW....
Lasts long enough to protect between monthly washes - so just re-apply every wash.
Agreed - Sunjoe SPX3000..... I would also suggest MTMHydro upgrades:
* Full Quick connect setup for hoses and gun
* SGS28 gun with Swivel
* Extended Lance - I prefer 18" - but options are there for desired length
* Cobra Jet Hose - 50 ft
* PF22 Foam Cannon
FYI - Pretty sure Sunjoe uses 14MM...
That would be the best option - use it to at least soften up the mineral deposits (pre-polish).
Essence does handle light defects using a heavy cut pad - I like to pair it with Buff & Shine URO Fiber pads. Then if I have spots that need extra cleanup I'll go over them with another Uro Fiber...
FYI- I have the full MTM setup (Gun / Hose / Fitttings / Nozzles / PF22 Cannon) - had it all for 2+ years now - now to be fair - I'm a hobbyist - and it is not used a ton - but I use it pretty regularly during the warmer months = no issues at all.....
I don't think they are that pricey - not...
I have been fighting this battle for years now..... My next option is to go MTM Hydro parts:
Garden Hose QC - Brass
Garden Hose Plug - Brass
They also have stainless but that get's pricey.....
Also - I'm sure Eley is high quality - but I have 3 hose spots - so need a bulk option = too pricey...
I prefer the Gloveworks Nitrile (Orange or Green) - they are 8 Mil for thickness making them quite sturdy but they don't feel thick - and they have a diamond texture to help with grip of slippery items.....
Used to have them here - but since the pandemic I've had to search elsewhere....
I have the MTM SGS-28 - it's been great (3+ years now) of semi regular weekly washes in summer + other PW uses.....
For the hobbyist it's a great option.
I also have MTM Cobrajet Hose - the Grey heavy duty - overkill - heavy but nice quality with no issues...... Most have stated the Black is...
Well if they can remove wax = they can remove dirt - also seems like the nap is going to capture dirt nicely! On top of that they are 550GSM - so soft and non scratchy / stiff = a perfect combo for Rinseless Wash towel in my book.
But hey - there's always the tried and true:
TRC Edgeless...
I use Edgeless 400GSMs (forgot where I found them now) - but thinking these new TRCs sound like they would work great:
TRC FTW Towel
