Does anyone have issues with their flex getting hot? What causes it? I have had a couple of pads have the Velcro backing plate fall off and I attribute it to the heat my flex is putting off. Any suggestions would be appreciated. GT

How much area do you cover before having to change out pads? Do you continue over the entire vehicle, regardless of size, with the same pad? How do you know if/when it's time to change to a new pad of the same type?

Are the yellow pads too abrasive? I have noticed that meguiar's has a kit for boat/rv restoration. Is this a kit worth considering? Are these products that are marketed for boat/rv any different than automotive finish products? Do fiberglass and gel coat surfaces require different cleaning...
