I agree with modman, I think it's defective. I wash all my other pads the same exact way and have never had any problems.
Hopefully I can get a new pad out of this deal!

Has anybody tried the 54 pack of Zwipes microfiber towels from Costco? If so, how was the quality compared to a Cobra MF? The description says 90,000 fibers per square inch, how does that compare to g/cm2?
In the future can I like to something like this or is it against forum rules?
I have 5.5 and 6.5 LC pads for my PC. I think when i order more I will get the 4" spot buffs and more of the 5.5's. For me the smaller ones work better to get in a variety of areas.

I dont know for sure about the two you mentioned but i tried megs 80 on a LC orange pad and all hard water deposits were gone and the glass looked brand new. i think scratch x is similar to megs 80 in that they both use diminishing abrasives so i would think it would work, but i'm no expert.
