Here's a Mercedes clk in pretty bad shape. They were sanded with 500, 1000, 1500 3" disc and sealed with UV Clear. I've experienced that's spider cracks before.

You can clean the lens and get them clear, but those tiny cracks are permanent. They're not on the surface of the lens and would require so much sanding that you'd damage the lens before ever reaching the depth of the cracks.

I use those for applying tire dressing. The separation between the sponges allows you to apply the the dressing using one side while holding the opposite side without the product penetrating the sponge and ending up all over your hand.
