I have only used a garden hose for rinsing. Prior to washing all I cover are a couple of the sensors with aluminum foil. I have not covered the alternator in years.

I have used GG Plush and then started using Rag Company Pluffs and now back to GG Plush as the Rag Company rags did not work as well or last as long the GG. Another case of you get what you pay for.

I have used three and they all did the job equally as well. I can't imagine the formulation on a product like this would vary significantly enough, if at all, to make a difference.

I'll throw my hat into the GG PFM's they simply work. The way I see it, only a rich person can afford cheap towels.
