    Swirl Remover

Exactly what belcherm said... The swirls are in the clearcoat, which is below anything that you would have applied to the surface. It is a drag, but to get rid of the swirls you will need to get through the wax/sealant that was applied to correct them. Live and learn. Good luck! :xyxthumbs:

Just like the title says... I am going to be buffing out a black metallic Land Rover Discovery that needs some life put back into the paint. I don't want to use just any compound for a couple reasons. 1) I don't want to have to worry about swirls and have to go back over it with a swirl...

Is there a wax that will allow paint to "off-gas"??

If you want a sealer, the Wizard's Shine Master will work. I work in a body shop and this is what we use, because it is safe for fresh paint. It is also a nice polish to use if you are in a hurry.

Whatever you do, be careful!!! Even if the personal that did the sanding and polishing was a professional, he removed clear coat from your finish. This means that you will need to take extra care when using any kind of rotart tool, there is a greater risk of burning through. Loudog2 is right...

    PB Trim Restorer Review

I work at a bodyshop and it is the same for me. The worst part is we get some cars that are simply trashed by the customer, so I go absolutely crazy since I am a neat-freak when it comes to my car. Since I have started working at the shop 3 years ago, I also find myself noticing poor repaints...
