Any experience with Optimum Hyper Polish?

Thanks for the advice! It's much appreciated. My wife's Fit is rally red. Unfortunately, I don't have a grey LC pad. I jut have white, red, and orange. But I think you're right though. A test spot is key. However, do you think I'd be able to get away with testing with the red and orange pads...

Any experience with Optimum Hyper Polish?

Hi, all. I'm nearly all set for my first paint correction experience (still waiting for my autogeek shipment to arrive). The car will soon be washed and clayed. At present, I plan on using optimum hyper polish and a GG random orbital with 6'' white pads. The car will be my wife's 2009 Honda...

    Paint Sealant Question

I use Wolfgang Liquid Seal over Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 and have been very impressed with the results. I can't imagine there would be any issue with applying the Blackfire Crystal Seal over WGDGPS, as Crystal Seal and Liquid Seal are similar products.

    Wolfgang Sealant One-Two Punch?

I applied two coats of WGDGPS and a single layer of WGDGLS at the beginning of November. I've been impressed with the durability and appearance of the combination on my daily driver. If anything, I like to believe that the paint of my daily driver is definitely prepared for winter.

Using Rinseless / ONR in Cold Weather

I've used ONR in 40 degree temps before. In my experience, it does take a few minutes longer to dry, but it's never been a problem. I find that a good quality MF drying towel and the use of blotting helps to avoid any issues.

    microfiber multi-pack for rinseless washing?

Hi, all. I'm thinking of purchasing dedicated MF towels for winter rinseless washing (ONR and Blackfire Wet Diamond Rinseless). Of the bulk packs here on autogeek, I'm considering the following ones: Special Purpose Light Blue Microfiber Towels Yellow All-Purpose Microfiber Towels Mango...

    Recent Fuzion "first timer"

I'm glad that you got a chance to enjoy fuzion. I used it on my CRZ this past summer to top off a coat of WGDGPS and I was very happy with it. It was incredibly easy to apply and remove, which was a big bonus for me.

    Griots at advance auto

+1 to this. I like using griots garage's MF towels that are available at advanced auto parts. Combine this with the frequent 10, 20, 30, or 40 percent off coupons that are available for online ordering (with free in store pick-up) and you can't go wrong.

    car wash towels

Agreed. I recently detailed my fiancee's Honda Fit that was not washed in three years. Clearly there was no LSP left. No sheeting action meant no real benefit to using a pooling method to dry the car.

WGDGPS 3.0 A how to question

Agreed. I recently winterized my car with two applications of WGDGPS and one application of WGDGLS outside under a carport. Prior to each application, though the car did not move over the course of three days, I still gave the car a traditional or rinseless wash.

    clay bar before drying car?

Hi, all. I was hoping to get some opinions on this. This is in regard to clay barring a car. Normally, before I clay bar a vehicle, I'll wash and dry it first. Would there be any detriment to not fully drying the car before I clay it? After I finish clay barring the car, I'd then give it a...
