For The Meguiars Fans (who isn't)

Which target did you see that deal at? I was in the kc area this weekend and checked two target stores and it was $35 at the store by the Oak Park Mall, and I was also in Lawrence for the KU vs. Belmont game, and they were sold out at that target.

    Paintless dent repair...minor rant

Maybe the dent had a scratch or scuff on it, and it needed to be removed to "read" the dent, and see the bottom of the dent when he was pushing the dent up. The only time I buff after doing PDR is when you have a nasty dent that can't be finished "perfect" so you wet sand and buff the area to...

Headlight sealant: spar urethane vs. opti coat 2.0

9.5 month update car #2 Chevy Malibu Even though spar urethane is not a superior sealant for lights, I am still going on with this experiment to help those that are interested and have an open mind. I am not opposed to professional light coatings, but if you are doing a high number of...

Headlight sealant: spar urethane vs. opti coat 2.0

I am very interested in trying out this product!!!! Hopefully its as easy to apply as opti coat 2.0. I have recently been experimenting with multiple coats of the 50/50 spar treatment compared to just one coat, and the results are obvious. The multiple coated lens are outlasting the one...

Headlight sealant: spar urethane vs. opti coat 2.0

7 month update on test vehicle #3 Pt Cruiser I just got around to inspecting my third test vehicle, which is daily driven but washed regularly and stored in a car port when not in use. Neither light looks much different than the day I restored them in my opinion. Both lens are holding up very...

Folex can be bought at Home Depot, in gallon or spray bottle size. Its good stuff and I will definitely continue to use it but its probably not the best to use. I just use it for stubborn stains, and it seems to work better than other cleaners that I have. Its not a foamy type of cleaner and...

I usually put hot water in it to begin with, and it usually takes 10-15 mins to fully heat up and it stays hot during the process.

Thanks for all the comments. I really do appreciate it. The customer was pretty happy, I didn't see her first reaction as I dropped the car off when she wasn't there. The exterior was needing a wash, polish and headlight restoration as you can imagine. I was even tempted to wash it just...
