    Supercharged widebody C6 correction detail

Beautiful as always. What color is that? I'm not real familiar with the C6 colors. Is the paint just as hard as the older Vettes?

Whats you Fav 1 Step Polish??

I read the title and thought Menzerna Power Finish! It seems to be the popular choice, LOL. I follow that with Zaino Z2 sealant.

    A very bad day...

Sounds like your down on Menzerna products, don't be! I LOVE their stuff. I use their polishes more than any other brand. I have SIP, power finish, Final Finish, and the Mirco finish. I can use these on most cars. If they need a little more aggressive of a product, I'll reach for Meguair's...

    A very bad day...

If it wasn't making any difference, why keep going? Find something that will work and go from there. SIP isn't as aggressive as one might expect, especially on really hard paints. BTW, nice car!

sizing up paint depth, hardness, etc.

Definitely experience. That's why it's great having a wide variety of pads and polishes. Another thing I have noticed with most vehicles is that the plastic bumpers are harder to polish. It's not having anything to do with the odd shape, curves and small areas, that's more challenging on its...

Only Removed by the Dealer Plastic Carpet Protector

If they ask, chances are they already have the car and the dealer didn't do it or they told them not to do it. I have my local Ferrari dealership call me to do a new car prep for them all the time. Nothing special you need to do. Maybe use fabric protector if they ask/pay for it, but that's it.

    d300 vs m105

M105 is more aggressive. It also dusts a lot more. Maybe try M105 with a MF pad and medium to heavy pressure with your DA

    2009 BMW E90 M3 - SeaJay's Detailing

Looks great! I did a jet black 08 BMW a month ago using the D300/MF pad. It worked great, but took me roughly 12 passes with heavy pressure to get results. What did you have to do? Being that this car was black, it was hazy after that step. I stepped down to a white LC pad and Menzera Power...

Oakes Detailed: Maserati GranTurismo - Grigio Goddess!

What do you normally work on? You average car I presume? Here in Austin, just about the only cars I do are high-end stuff. Usually $50K+ all the way up to a $1.6 million Ferrari Enzo so far. If a customer has the money, I'll do anything though. Typically someone around here with an average...

    My first negative review!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I too thing it's a bogus review. Either way I let my customers know ahead of time that my paint correction packages include a BASIC interior wipe down and vacuum. If their is excessive pet hair, their is an extra charge. Shampoo/extraction of carpets is an...
