I wouldn't worry about ruining 845, it is about the most bullet-proof wax/sealant there is. In fact, trying to remove it intentionally/completely is more problematic. The Collinite paste waxes are even more durable, but all are remarkable, and an outstanding value. Always have been.

IMO the Meguiars Headlight & Spot Repair Kit, with a lot of sanding disks, all of the backing plates, interface pads, polishing pads, and 105, and 205, and a nice bag, is $110, and enough to abrade and polish 20-30 pairs, is a killer deal. There is a 15% off sale now. You cannot beat it.
