Thats how i tried to apply initially... that too did streaking. Thats the reason i changed the method. And unlike what you assumed, i spread the product with foam applicator and then buffed off with soft microfiber.

In my case they come off pretty easy with wash mitt, probably because i pre-soak the surface with ONR at QD strength prior to ONR rinseless wash.

From my personal experience there are two factors that decide longevity of clay bar: 1) Amount of bonded contaminants on surface, 2) How quickly clay bar detoriates ("crumples") away. So, it really becomes a judgment call as to when it's loaded up to the point where you no longer want to use it.

No, its not supposed to act like that. It beads for the lifetime of the car. Something must have went wrong in your prep or may be i suppose you washed the car too early after OC application. When did you do the first car wash after the OC application?
