I like HCW but not as a drying aid. I use Sonax Brilliant shine detailer dilute 1:2/3 and that really outperfoms Megs HCW as a drying aid. Big difference

Try diluting hcw 1:7 with water, for your next fresh application. To remove streaking, you may have to use some stronger soap, not the pH neutral stuff that is normally used. Or you may just have to wash it many times, too much effort that way.

Dilution of the product, pre-application, has been talked about, multiple times. Did you try that?

Don't use 6oz in 1 gallon as the bottle says. Dilute it more. I am currently doing 2 oz in 2 gallons. No residues. And no traffic film after a few weeks of washing. If you want it to foam at this dilution, we'll that's not happening lol. You'll need the 6 ounces :D

It will strip old waxes / sealants. If you wash your car with it several times, I think it will remove the wax. I use it extremely diluted, though, about 2 oz in 2 gallons water. It will depend on how concentrated you use it. I'm still experimenting with it.

You cannot expect pH neutral soaps to remove built up traffic film. Use something stronger. I use purple power boat vehicle wash for that purpose. (NOT the degreaser, that's a different product)

Would this soap remove iron particles that have become embedded in the paint/clearcoat?
