It can happen anywhere, especially when bees are actively pollinating flowering plants. If you were near a bee farm or areas with hives, your car would have a TON more spots all over it.
Re: what's the last form of excercise you've done?
I do as much as I can of the long jump/triple jump circuits that I build for my athletes.
Typical day includes a mobility jog circuit, static flex circuit, dynamic flex circuit, and then depending on the day or cycle it could continue with...
I use Phoenix and have found that it works easiest spread very thin on a microfiber applicator pad. The gritty looking bits will actually melt right into the paint. Use the finger swipe test to see if it's ready to be removed, IE wipe a spot with your finger and if it doesn't smear it's ready to...
The Rupes S.p.A. UHS system might be the best overall one step correction/polish setup that I have used. This four year old BMW E30 zinnoberrot respray is on the soft side and most of the options I had before required a finishing polish step to remove micro-marring or haze, and had other side...
I just put together the same setup that the OP shared with us and I have a few initial thoughts. It is really, really, bright and clear, but on my red E30 it is almost blinding. I just did a quick ONR wipedown and I can see EVERYTHING that's wrong cosmetically with the car. There are a lot of...
Mike, I remember you stating and showing pictures of how too high of IPA to water ratio can actually cause paint shrinkage as well. It seems like with the product technology boom that we have in today's detailing world, IPA is taking a back seat to better, albeit pricier, options. There are wash...
This was after Prima Amigo on Rupes 21 and black finishing pad, topped with one layer of Son1cWax Phoenix. It was easier to spread than Dodo Juice soft waxes and looks fantastic, but there were some greasy spots when I inspected in the sun. I used some Pinnacle QD to remove the greasy spots back...
No worries. :)
I'm not sure there's an inexpensive way for the OP to really mute the flake so he doesn't notice it if he wants a polished and waxed car. The only three ways I can think of are repaint (expensive but you choose the color you want), vinyl wrap (not cheap, not expensive, not...
