Would I be right in assuming there is no need to change the counter-weight on the GG6 at all? Just install my 5" lake country backing plate and I'm good to go?

Unfortunately in Edmonton last winter they started some kind of campaign about cops/bylaw ticketing people if they didn't full clean snow off their cars. Not sure if that was just our city or province wide.

It's actually snowing here in Edmonton today, but still warm enough that its pretty much melted when it hits the ground. Calgary on the other hand I hear is even worse off today, and from what I heard they are getting accumulation (of snow). This is waaaaay too early, even for up here!

The first general rule I'd say is: Longer than the manufacturer claims. 3-4 years? I can't think of any detailing product I've ever had that wasn't still good in that timeframe. Most should be able to go much longer than that.

That's what I do. I wash with a citrus hand cleaner (Dojo or similar, the kind that has some grit in it) out in the garage, and then wash my hands again in the house with regular soap (mainly to get the scent of the hand cleaner off. lol) and that usually does the trick for me.

I can relate. I don't own Fuzion, and I don't even have all that many paste waxes but I've got jars of PS1S, Meg's #16, Souveran, Natty's white, and Natty's Red (and maybe forgetting one or two), and none of them are even close to being finished.
