I used two coats of 845 and put a topping of KSG, I no longer need to wash my wheels...Just SWIFFER dust them off now and then...2011 328 I Conv...And with a white car you all should know how important it is to keep off brake dust...
Best thing I ever did...
Only one thing to add to Bobby's post is heat the bottle in warm water or leave out in the sun if your in a warmer climate..The wax does need to become liquid before shaking and using..
I found that the warmer the wax is in the container, the easier it is to use, it seems to dry and haze over...
Klasse AIO with a Klasse gloss sealant..
Collinite 845 on top of KSG...Especially on white....
I use Pinnacle Souveran spray wax as a touch up weekly...Amazing and very easy to use...
WELCOME TO AUTOGEEK...
Wash..Clay..And a chemical cleaner polish like Klasse All In One or similar, then two coats of 845 and your set for winter...A quick shot of Pinnacle Souveran Spray wax to keep it up from time to time...
I guess you never owned or detailed a BMW..UGH..I will say my new 2011 BMW is so much better then my 2009..
I use a swiffer now on my wheels, it only takes a few mins to do all four and works fantastic..
Great detail..I've been using 845 on my white car, topped with Pinnacle Souveran spray...
With a BMW in the garage I will try the hot rims all wheel cleaner, brake dust barrier and I love their NXT glass cleaner already so I'll pick up some of the new glass cleaner somewhere down the road...
:iagree:
I use Megs AND Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Spray wax as well over 845 with great results..
I'm testing two coats of 845 and two coats of Pinnacle to see how it works this winter..
The polish is a cleaner and bonding agent which prepares the surface and is meant to be topped with wax..
Now 2 or 3 coats of Collinite 845 and your more then ready for winter..Leave 12 to 24 hours between coats if you can and make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying the next...
