The bugs are pretty small and seem to leave yellow spots. Hopefully it wont be an issue.
With opticoat Ive seen etching from bird poo but it goes away after a week or so after washing off. Not sure how that works but Ive seen others experience the same.
I carry quick detailer + micofibers in my car. But it's so dirty I dont want to smear it as mentioned above. I was out of town for 1.5 weeks and wasnt able to set an appointment with detailer till Friday.
SOrry to bump this old thread but are all bugs acidic or is it just love bugs? I havent washed mine off in over a month and it's been baking in the sun. I have no idea what type of bugs they are but I live in California, where we dont have lovebugs.
I have an appointment with my detailer on...
It is a Subaru BRZ. I can post pictures tomorrow.
Will I be able to use the spray for just one section of the grill? Im afraid that if I do that, the blacks will not match. Also two of the scuffs are not so light as it scraped in a bit into the plastic.
Will water spots be more difficult to remove the longer I leave it on? It is extremely hard for me to see the water spots and the only time I can get a good look at them is at night with a lamp directly above it
Im wondering if I should pay a professional to remove it all for me (Im sure I cant...
There are some hard water spots on my car. Im assuming they are from washing although I could have sworn the areas were dried.
Can they be effectively removed without having to polish out the Opti-Coat?
If I can "hide" these scratches to the point it would be invisible to the naked eye, it would be enough. It's the second time Ive done this but this time it was much worse.
I just hope the Opti-Coat minimized the scratching onto the clear coat and paint
I had my car opti-coated in November and today I was standing on a curb next to my car and as I stepped down, I accidentally stepped on part of the bumper. With rocks and grime stuck under my sandles, it scratched the bumper. It's not deep but I'm not sure if it is that light either.
Is it safe...
