    Interior Windshield Cleaning

I've had the best luck using a Waffle weave to do the actual cleaning I.e. Picking up the dirt and oil and then using those tight weave no pile glass towel to be the last buff. Been working so far. Just hate all the weird angles you need to contort yourself to get some spots.

    Post Your Beading Shots!!!

The water looks like it is floating! Very cool.

    Post Your Beading Shots!!!

Maybe streaky is the wrong word. The Dodo leaves behind an oily appearance, like Kevin mentioned and, yes, a quick buff immediately after spreading it will keep that to a minimum. I use a two towel method. One to apply and the other to buff off. If there are areas of the oily hazy look then...

    Post Your Beading Shots!!!

Hopefully this posts properly. Base is Collinite 845. I had a few rinseless and waterless washes over the course of 3 months. The waterless is Pinnacle Crystal with carnauba which i think offers a little bit of protection... maybe... and then the rinseless is the ever popular ONR. Here, I...

    Well.... That sucks

Mine is Lightning Blue. Can see the swirls in the right light and it bugs me to no end some days. Usually can't see them though.

    Well.... That sucks

I have a 2017. Been wanting to dive into some mild correction. I really just have some minor swirls from washing (when I was still new and dumb), one clear coat scratch from who the hell knows where (parking lot at work all alone and far away) and the biggest problems two paint chips (one from...

    Getting Clean Windows?

I was having similar problems with the gyeon Q2 view which would just not yield and give me the desired clarity. Swirls and smudges everywhere. After some stoners and time buffing gently, it went away but I was afraid of ruining the expensive product i just took the time to place down.( so far...

    Pluffle sale

My mistake. I wasnt really thinking about that fact. I'll make sure to play by the rules in the future. Sorry. Please delete this post then, I don't want to set a bad example for anyone else. And to hide my shame.

    Pluffle sale

rag company has the pluffle 16x24 in a 4 pack for $26. Are they worth my while? Are they worth me taking the time to explain to my back account why I abuse it so much?

Is it my towel or my QD?

Test with water...Pfft yeah I totally checked that before posting... (I'll be right back) So, yes and no. The plan water did wipe and absorb better than with the QD. But it also seemed to push the leading edge water around. I tried it on the rear quarter panels and it just made it drip down. I...

Is it my towel or my QD?

I applied Sonax High Speed spray wax ( found a new love for it) and dodo juice tropical detailer ( got it on a two for one). I applied each on opposite sides of the car to kind of see the difference, don't ask why I felt like experimenting. But... I have meguiars ultimate qd. I sprayed on and...

Is D120 as good as Stoner's Invisible Glass? Better? Worse?

I found this guy a little while ago. I've watched nearly everything he has up.

    Review: Chemical Guys Blacklight Glaze

I prepped with a good 2 bucket wash. Pinnacle superfine Clay where needed. (as stated in my original post, maybe I have too many swirls for this product to really show benefit) I used a blue pad but that's what the directions say, even the article that you link to later says to use a blue or...

    Review: Chemical Guys Blacklight Glaze

I haven't been doing detailing for too long and maybe my eye isn't quite developed to notice and appreciate the subtleties that products can have on the outcome of my labors. I suppose you can take my observation of the effect with a grain of salt then. So, my review will be based on my...

    Review - Chemical Guys VRP

Thank for the review. I'm looking forward to the good results on the tires. I tried this on the trim a few weeks ago... never again. It set for several hours before an unfortunate light rain. The rain caused the dressing to run down the paint and obviously off of the trim but in a lovely...
