I don't have knowledge about the Metabo polisher but I have bought 1/2 dozen of their grinders for my crew at work and they are a great tool and durable. I work for a steel manufacturer and our tools take some abuse.

Just my 2 cents, I have used mine twice on my wifes 3 week old car and it has not harmed the finish at all. Of coursr I make sure it's rinsed off first and shake the water off between swipes. You can even wipe the blade after each pass with what ever drying product you are using.

It's the best that I've found next to baby diapers.

I let both coats of sealant cure for 12 hours each. Applied first coat of wax and will apply the second coat after the first one cures. It's driving my wife nuts.

Well, looks like I have flipped for sure. I woke up at 4:00 A.M. this morning knowing that the 12 hour curing time was over at 5 so that I could put the second coat of sealant on. Will follow that with a coat of wax. I must say it looks better than the day we brought it home. Starting my list...

Sorry that I can't help you with comparisons, this is the first time that I have uesed any of these products. I put the sealant on in the garage while the car was cool. I followed the directions on the bottle and from this site. Works perfect. jama

BlkTaco5 Do you dampen the applcator once before starting to apply the sealant or as you go along? jama

Received my first bottle of WG sealant yesterday. Used it today and I believe that it is easier than everybody has stated. Put it on my wifes new Legacy which we purchased 2 weeks ago. This car is still a virgin, no swirls, scratches, niks, etc. Had to reteach myself to use only a small amount...
