I have a das6 pro for the last 6 months and haven't had a problem.
Check if it is das6 or the pro version. The pro is more powerful and is lot less heat generating. The earlier das6 version is cheaper than the pro and could still get the job done.
Slightly on the heavier side compared to the pc...
Hit it with apc, then iPa, let dry, peanut butter to remove wax, apc and iPa again before trim restorer. There are multiple choices. Wolf? Aerospace 303?

It has been raining quiet a bit so interiors would be over a dry weekend, will post before and after pics. Since its Leather I don't wanna do it during rains.

thanks and in this quest for perfection no one is an expert [!?] i believe but your suggestions are extremely similar to what i actually learnt. infact next time around if i work the PF a bit harder i may not even need a SF becasue FF finishes great.
